president gray makes my heart swell with pride when she personally tells me how much positive change and leadership i have inflicted upon this campus. i hardly know how to respond but smile.

i want to believe she doesnt just say that to everyone. i think i may be right.

the red sox have never lost a game that i didnt stay the whole time for. knock on wood. tonight was no exception as sarah and i bro’ed out, just the two of us, for the salem red sox vs. kinston indians.

well, so much for hiking.

i guess i could spend the better part of sunday, tumbling.

who would have thought that the community & cultural engagement banquet would have been such a flood bath? with each person who got emotional, the next person to speak would cry that much harder. don’t get me wrong, it was an absolutely beautiful event, but i was not planning on crying at a podium in front a room full of people. anna was absolutely touched and incredibly surprised to receive a recognition certificate. she swore i was giving it to patty. surprise!

i cant wait to spend 10 days in mexico with the mclaughlin family. best job ever.

it’s ok, you can be sga president next year on beating elizabeth dodd’s winning streak in beer pong

soccer’s spring season put them up against concord for two 45 minute scrimmages. for playing against a division II school, i felt like we really held our own. i was impressed by the amount of support on the field, especially for an unpublicized unofficial game.

welcome daniella to the world of egyptian rat screw.

lindsay-less 101 had a mini craftakular where we decorated a champagne bottle, ring night style, for emily’s 21st birthday. it was in that super cute way where we turn the li in liebert to 21 i.e. 21ebert. in cursive, it works.

it was about time for a wife night out. lorraine had been trying to get me to go dancing for weeks, and i figured what the heck, i still hadn’t worn my new shirt i got for the occasion. but the thing was, the park sucks on friday. so that didn’t really work. the dj was exceptionally rude and there was no one there under 30 something. and 202 wanted money, which wasn’t going to happen. so then we ended up at some sketchy house party with everyone and their mom that worked at chedders (minus kelsi) plus sarah mccaig and her new gf, devon. i mean, id like to think of it all as an adventure. even if our originally intention was not met.

what better way to spend a friday?

i led my first focus group today. yay.

spent a better part of work apartment hunting and comparing with noelle. please just let everything fall into place.

spring dance works began. brett is so much like her mom it’s unreal. the first night of showings took forever. the stage changes were inappropriately and inconveniently long. the actual dances were great. i was just so ready to leave by the time it was all over.

thursday night has practically officially become game night at 101. with snacks. this week’s specialty was milkshakes/malts. the living room was laughably split into two games. scattegories and sorry. serious and fun. i think i did better this week on the fun side.

delivered and ready.
